Sploder games

sploder

I’ve noticed that many of you come on my website via “sploder”. I know they’ve been using some of my musics in their games. If you are looking for the musics i recommend you to directly check my directory here of old modules.

You may need Winamp or a specific module player to replay them. These musics were made on Amiga an Atari a looooooong time ago :). They were called “soundchip”.

Delta Remix

delta

A few month ago i remixed a music named “delta” which was originally made by Rob hubbard. I originally put this music into some other remixes from great Atari tunes (SID Remixes vol 2).

A few months ago this music was on a CD . A few weeks ago. LTR asked me if he could remix my music. I of course agreed (music in general for me have to be remixed, spread and shared).

Evolution of music in the demoscene

demoscene

2 years ago, for the “demo in paris” event i made a speech regarding the “evolution of music in the demoscene”. I made this speech in French and i never found time to make it in english.

I finally started this speech again in english this time. I’ve updated a lot of slides and added some informations in the whole presentation. This is almost finished. The slides are OK and i still have the speech to record. For fun, this is just a little teaser that i’ve uploaded on YouTube.

Logic Pro

logic-3

A few weeks ago Apple decided to break the price of Logic Pro. Apple said that they discontinued the sales of the “box” version of logic. I jumped at the chance to finally get it. The price is now 149€. It’s such a great deal since the previous price was more than 300€.
I used to play with logic in 2000. I then stopped using it when Apple bought the product from Emagic. I then got stuck to 5.5.1 on PC. When i moved to apple a few years later Logic was too expensive, i then bought Ableton live.
I think that i will use logic more to mix than composing. Original plugins are really powerful and some Apple’s VST are just magic (Ultrabeat and Reverb).
